SHINE Initiative

A Clarion Call to Dignity

For too many women, life has been a battle against trafficking, exploitation, addiction, and incarceration—a cycle of pain, shame, and hopelessness. But hope is not lost. SHINE is a voice of hope. A clarion call to Dignity.

In 2016, Kelly Master, Director of For Dignity, published SHINE – Uplifting Words for Girls in Stilettos, a book that has touched the lives of thousands of women in prisons, strip clubs, recovery homes, and the streets. It speaks worth to the broken, light to the lost, and strength to those struggling to rise.

Now, The SHINE Initiative is on a mission to get 50,000 copies into the hands of women who need it most. Women trapped in darkness—whether behind bars, in addiction, or in the grip of exploitation—are finding a lifeline in these pages.

And the impact is spreading. SHINE has been translated into Indonesian and is reaching women trapped in brothels overseas, offering them a message of worth, restoration, and freedom.

Will you stand with us? Your donation will place SHINE directly into the hands of a woman who needs to know she is seen, valued, and worthy of a new beginning.

At times I feel people judge me and do not know me. I made very wrong choices, but I am a child of God. Thank you for your Christian kindness. I was blessed today! Blessings to you and your ministry!”
